Piano

When you're preparing for exams it's important to stay relaxed and not to get overwhelmed with the amount of work involved.  Set yourself realistic targets and stick to them; for example, only two scales per week and a section from one of your pieces.  Remember that improvements will happen gradually and that you should not expect to be able to get everything right yesterday.  Don't be hard on yourself.  Concentrate on staying relaxed and breathing.  Focus on what you've got right rather than on what you've got wrong.  Aim to get your pieces, scales etc more right and not less wrong.  Having a positive mindset will really help your practice.
