Piano

There have been lots of articles, books and essays written about classical music and its benefits for the human spirits and soul. I am not planning to even attempt that.

All I would like to say is that music can mean different things for each individual. For me, it always was and still is the most straightforward way to express everything that is in my heart. There is no control or second thoughts. It is just sounds travelling and taking one's feelings and thoughts with them. The biggest success is when these feelings reach one's audience. Not necessarily in the same way or meaning, but still they are there. That's when a performer feels satisfied and fulfilled. And that is a feeling that cannot be described in plain words.

And that is what I want to try and pass on to my students. The successful communication of their emotions to others. That always keeps me going, and reminds me how important my role is. And that is why I take it very seriously.
