The success of my teaching practise as a full time career is down to enthusiasm and focussed attention to detail with the individual's various styles and needs in mind.
All styles of music are possible in my experience and I encourage a wide range of material for listening and playing: from Hendrix to Bob Dylan, Green Day to John Williams, Django to Van Halen . . . . . etc etc
The accent is on fun and enjoyment and variety, but with additional more serious considerations as well! such as, mastering the instrument and attaining the ultimate performance and playing ability to match the individuals goals.
Other instruments are fun too! it is great to play and record a drum track followed by a bass track overlaid with guitar and vocals, other instrumentaton such as flute or bassoon, violin or trumpet can be played via the studio synthesiser and recorded to disc or card for you to take home at the end of the session. video is also useful for recording the session contents to assist recall when practising at home.
