Over the past few years I have been fortunate to perform many fantastic pieces for the trombone. Good music for the trombone is quite difficult to find especially original music so it takes quite alot of research.
All the following pieces are for advanced players and would work well in most recitals or college exams. Alot of the music has been recorded by some of the worlds best trombone players which I strongly urge you to listen to. I believe that listening to other musicians is a crucial part of your own development. It gives you more ideas relating to sound, musicality, timbre and texture, and technique and is an essential part of the development process.
