Trombone

One important aspect of practising for any brass player is that of mentally practising the notes before playing them. It is always a good idea to try and play the notes in your head before attempting to play them out loud.

This will ensure that the first time you play the music it will be considerably better than if you hadn't mentally prepared, therefore improving accuracy, confidence and preventing overuse of the lips.
