J. B Arban's Cornet Method has been the basic foundation for all trumpet/cornet players for the last century whether they specialise in Jazz or Classical music. It is a great way for beginners to grasp hold of a strong foundation to build upon and for Advanced players there is always something new to learn that this book can provide.

It is an essential book for any brass player to have and along with a few other methods would be my main reference when teaching.
