Trumpet

Learning a brass instrument provides a fun, rewarding experience for a musician of any age and standard.

Brass instruments are one of the most versatile instrument families and can play in many exciting musical groups from Orchestras to Brass Bands, Big Bands, and Chamber Ensembles.

They are also able to express many different sounds and emotions such as beautiful, lyrical melodies to triumphant fanfares and heroic theme tunes, listen to all of John Williams' soundtracks - the brass have the most exciting parts!

Learning a brass instrument is also very social, I would strongly recommend any student to join a band of any genre or standard. One of the perks of playing a brass instrument is their versatility within many different ensembles and there is no better way to improve and have fun than to play with others and perform!
