University Accounting

The more I have taught the more I realise many people simply have a fear of numbers and literally a mental block when looking at figures.

There is now a term for people who have difficulty in understanding numbers which is known as dyscalculia or numeracy anxiety.

A test can be done to assess whether you or someone you know has this common difficulty (one in three). Try the website www.dyscalculia.me.uk/  for an assessment.
