"University applications are getting tougher" said one of my 'A' level students. I asked, "What made you say that?"
She explained: "All my 6th form friends are talking about the UCAS Application. It is very important to write a good personal statement and fill in the application with the right choices." She added: "I also need to write my CV in order to write my personal profile."
It was obvious that she and many other students were not aware that there is professional help available for them to discuss, clarify and fill in their UCAS application forms. This professional help is given by Tutors/Professionals who are trained in Careers and Coaching/Consulting - I am one of them and I have started to get almost as many enquiries for UCAS Application as 'A' level Maths tuition.
UCAS is very important but most important is your clarity about your choice for University.
Is your choice based on your own interests and strengths? or
Are you influenced by what is expected of you by others?
