University Statistics

Statisticians collect information from a carefully specified sample and extend the results to an entire population. Sample surveys might be used to:

    * Determine which disease is spreading more rapidly
    * Discover what foods teenagers prefer for breakfast
    * Estimate the number of children living in a given school district

Why learn from a professional statistician?

I have been working as a statistician for 7 years in hospitals and medical colleges. Statistics is just a very nice game to play with numbers! I can teach how to analyze data and how to implement statistical techniques in real scenarios along with theory. It is much more interesting to be practical as well theoretical. Statistics is involved in almost every type of quantitative research, so you must learn how to implement statistical methods.
