Book Recommendation

For beginner violins I recommend Fiddle Time Starters by Kathy and David Blackwell as it is fun and has an accompanying CD which is very helpful.  I use this book because I do believe that lessons should be fun as well as didactic. 

For the piano and the accordion there are a range of similar publications.
