Violin

The book I would recommend for child pupils is Tricks to Tunes by Audrey Akerman as it has a fun approach to learning the violin, containing lots of tunes that young children will know.  It also has large staves which makes it easier for young children to learn how to read music.  For adults I would suggest A New Tune a Day by Sarah Pope which also has lots of familiar tunes but is a more grown up version.

About The Author

In my lessons I aim to teach overall musicality as well as how to play the violin and read music. Happy to work with pupils just for fun, or working towards exams.
