Violin

I believe that everybody should have the opportunity to experience playing an instrument, and that playing an instrument develops both self-reliance and teamwork skills.  The discipline of playing an instrument is excellent for developing self-awareness as well as improving self-esteem.  I have found learning the violin provides an excellent outlet to express emotions and energies.

I believe that enjoyment is the most important factor when learning an instrument, and that it is never too late to learn a new skill.
