Violin

The Suzuki method of teaching is considered one of the best and fun ways for a child to learn a musical instrument.

The Suzuki Method of Talent education was developed by the world renouned violinist and teacher Dr. Shinichi Suzuki. He teaches us that every child is born with ability and people are the sum of their enviroment.

Students are taught using the "mother tongue" approach; thus we learn our own language by repetition and this is how we learn to play instruments such as the violin.

Parent and child both enjoy the lessons as they have found an activity they can enjoy together - the child helps the parent and vice versa.

I would recommend two books for parents to read to fully understand this method of teaching:

Nurtured by Love, The Classic Approach To Talent Education and Ability Development From Age Zero both by Dr. Suzuki.
