I became a tutor as I have a passion for teaching and helping other to learn new skills. I have a lot of time and patience and I dedicate a lot of time to each individual student.

I do not have specific books that I use for every student, as I really think it depends on the student and how they learn at their best. However, the types of books I do use are:

* Wagon wheels

* Abracadabra

* Applebom

* ABRSM

I think it is very important that the parents get involved in their children's studies as from my experience the children whose parents are involved tend to progress quicker. Furthermore, it makes the whole teaching experience far more pleasant for both the child and the teacher and I want to make it fun for the children.

I also prepare children for the ABRSM exams, and think it provides a great sense of achievement for them.

Advice for my students would be to work and practise hard - however, make sure you enjoy yourself every step of the way!
