The concept of "Eufonia".

"Eufonia" litterally means "good sound". "Eufonia" is the ability to understand and express the potential of our sonic experience, listening and practising.

"Eufonia" is "a synthesis of modern and traditional knowledge of Sound and Music and its therapeutic, cathartic, educational, psychological and aesthetic effects on the human being".

Music is a vibrant and vital energy, and "Eufonia" constitutes a synthesis of the experience where music, poetry and beauty coexist.

The human voice, with all its possibilities and articulated vocal emission when we sing, is the most important instrument we have as human being.

The power of the voice in the ancient cosmologies and myths.

All the ancient civilizations recognize the important role of the sound and the music as origin and foundation of the Universe. We read in S.John Gospel "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God".

 In the Bhagavad Gita is said that Krishna knows 16.000 melodic combinations of the Universe. The "Mantras" for the Buddists are considered manifestation of "Shabda", the sacred sound. In the Yoga the sound "AUM" is composed by A representing a connection with the Earth, base of the sound, from U to join and M representing a connection with the Heaven.

In the Greek myths Orpheus had the ability to charm all living things, even stones.

The cultures of the oriental world didn't forget their traditions, and in several disciplines such as martial arts or religious practises the power of the sound and breathing is always pursued.
