The Fundamentals of Singing

How many times have we heard 'sing from the diaphragm'? That does not mean anything and is used by people who don't fully understand support or breathing.

The breath should be 'free flowing' and have energy within it.

Singing cannot be taught in a group. Dance yes, singing no.

Young pupils who are taught to sing in a group, without individual tuition, often learn to shout and not sing.
