About Dan
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have been playing saxophone for 12 years and working professionally as a musician (playing and teaching) for 5 years. I have performed in groups of all sizes ranging from duos to Big Bands, most recently at Langnau Jazz Festival and London Jazz Festival. I currently teach flute, saxophone and clarinet in schools and I teach a number of private students regularly.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
Yes I have a clean, up to date DBS.
- Where and with whom did you train?
I am currently training at the Royal Academy of Music under Pete Churchill, Nick Smart and James Allsopp.
Previously I trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama under Geoff Simkins and Iain Ballamy.
- Do you belong to any professional organisations?
The Musicians' Union.

Jazz Saxophone - all abilities. Clarinet and Flute - Beginner to Intermediate.
I am a specialist in Jazz and improvisation and can also teach pop and classical.

Lessons are £35 for an hour. £40 if travelling.

I teach from Marylebone and I teach at Students' homes.

I teach evenings and weekends.

I teach all ages and abilities currently ranging from age 11-65, complete beginner - diploma/university entrance level.
