- I am an experienced tutor, teaching Latin to GCSE level. I am based in New Cross Gate and Hampstead, and am happy to travel to North, East, West, and South London. Anywhere within zone 6 would be possible, please contact me for details.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach Latin language, from beginner to GCSE level.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I have studied Latin for 12 years, with A* in GCSE and A in A level, and I studied Classics at Oxford university.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have been tutoring since 2009 and have tutored pupils for GCSE exams, and at pre-GCSE levels. Referees are available on request.
- How much do you charge?
- The first lesson costs £15, and after that I charge £25 per hour. I am happy to give discounts for group lessons, and I do not charge any extra fees for travel.
- Where do you teach?
- I teach at student's homes and am happy to travel anywhere in London. I have previously taught as far apart as Clapham, Ealing and Tufnell Park as well as in New Cross Gate. Nearby areas such as Peckham, Camberwell, Greenwich, Bermondsey, Tooting and Wimbledon are particularly convenient, also Hampstead, Belsize Park, Swiss Cottage and Golder's Green.
- When are you available?
- I am available to tutor on weekday evenings and I have some availability at the weekend (both during the day and evening), please contact me to arrange when would be suitable. I am also available to tutor during the holidays, or to teach revision sessions during pre-exam study leave.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I teach any age and any level up to GCSE.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- I fully prepare my students for GCSE language examinations.
