Personal Message
I am a young professional violist and violinist with a passion for teaching any age and ability. I believe that music can be enjoyed at any level, whether you wish to
aim for something in particular or simply have fun.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach the violin, viola, piano and recorder. We will do some music theory in the lessons but if you are preparing for an exam I also offer separate music theory lessons.
Tell me about your qualifications.
2000 - 2010: Postgraduate Diploma with Distinction at Royal Northern College of Music
2005 - 2009: GRNCM at RNCM
2005 - 2008: MusB(Hons) with 2:1 at University of Manchester
What kind of experience do you have?
I have a number of years teaching experience
How much do you charge?
I charge £25 per hour, however I am happy to do other lengths of lessons at the same rate so:
30 minutes: £12.50
45 minutes: £18.75
Where do you teach?
I preferably teach from home and have an excellent music room. I am halfway between Droitwich and Worcester and just off the M5 so extremely accessible even from Bromsgrove, Evesham and Pershore.
When are you available?
I am available mornings, afternoons and evening on various days so it should be quite possible to find a time to suit.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages - at the youngest from around 4, and then up to any age! Music is for everyone after all!
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
If you wish to study for exams, then I can prepare you for exams for the ABRSM.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes.
Where and with whom did you train?
I studied at the Royal Northern College of Music with Simon Rowland-Jones, and on an exchange to Sydney I also studied with Roger Benedict for a semester.
