Which subject(s) do you teach?
English and English Literature for A-Level.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a BA hons English 2:1 from Girton College, Cambridge Universtiy; MA English as previous.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have been tutoring for 6 years and have continually improved students grades. After a period working in managing West End Theatres, I moved back to the love I have for my subject-English. I have also had a lot of experience working with Hong Kong students on UK Summer Schools, improving their English and introducing them to English culture through Literature.
How much do you charge?
£28 per hour.
Where do you teach?
I travel to students' homes in Bexley mainly, i.e Welling, Bexleyheath, Dartford, Belvedere, also, Greenwich, i.e Plumstead, Lewisham, Woolwich, Blackheath. I will also travel to other areas in South-East, East and Central London by arrangement.
When are you available?
Available from 9.30am weekdays also available evenings and weekends.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
A-Level English/English Literature is my specialism but also essay writing/proof reading upto degree level.
Also have built up experience teaching A-Level History; Oxbridge entrance preparation; Common Entrance 13+
Do you have a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?

Tell me about some of your current students.
I am tutoring a boy for the English part of his Common Entrance exams. I have not long finished working with 2 A-Level students, both who had the aim of moving from a B/C to an A grade.
Do you have a personal message for students?
I am a young, friendly tutor who has built up a wealth of experience in tutoring and enjoys sharing a passion for learning by encouraging students to realise their full potential.
