I teach Flute.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I received my Masters degree from The Royal Academy of Music in London, studying with Kate Hill of the English Chamber Orchestra, and Clare Southworth. My undergraduate studies were completed in New York at the Aaron Copland School of Music with Renee Siebert of the NY Philharmonic and Stefan Hoskuldsson of The NY Metropolitan Opera. In 2009 I was appointed Co-Principal Flute of the Southbank Sinfonia orchestra in London. My earlier years include attending the Manhattan School of Music prep school in New York.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching flute privately for 10 years, and have taught at USDAN music summer camp in New York. I also have extensive training from Southbank Sinfonia education projects in teaching music to groups of children in the UK.
How much do you charge?
I normally charge £30/hr, and this fee is flexible, depending on your location, as I travel to my students' homes to teach. I also offer the option of half-hour and forty-five minutes, and price can be discussed.
Where do you teach?
I live in Central London, but am willing to travel to your home.
When are you available?
I am available 7 days a week, and times to be discussed as I also work in the Royal Academy of Music at Academy Chimes.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages and levels, from child to adult, beginner to advanced.
Do you have a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
I do not hold a CRB disclosure certificate.
