- I am a friendly and enthusiastic flute and music theory teacher. I am looking forward to share my passion for music with all of you. No exam pressure. Just Music!
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I mainly teach flute in all levels. However, if you are more interested in music theory, I can help with harmony, history of music, aural skills etc.
Aside from my classical education, I am also interested in other music styles (such as jazz and film music). Therefore, if you are not interested in classical music, I can always plan the lessons according to your musical preferences. - Tell me about your qualifications.

- I have taught flute and music theory in secondary schools as well as teaching many students and adults privately.
Orchestral Experience:
I was a principal flute of the Macedonia University Orchestra for two years.
Chamber Experience:
I have given a number of concerts as a member of several classical music ensembles (Wind Quartets, Flute & Guitar Duo, Flute & Violin Duo, Flute Trio, Flute/Cello and PIano Trio, Quartet). - How much do you charge?
- I charge £35 per hour (60min) and £25 per half hour (30mins).
I make also group lessons which are available at a discounted rate of £20 per hour (60mins) each student. - Where do you teach?
- I am very happy to travel to you to teach, as my current accommodation has limited space.
Standard fee: Surbiton, Kingston
Plus travel expenses: all other areas - When are you available?
- As a freelancer my timetable is flexible so we can discuss a mutually convenient time.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- Can teach all ages from beginners to more advanced players. I am also very happy to teach adults as well.
There is no right or wrong time and age to start playing an instrument! - Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- No I do not, but if necessary I can obtain one.
- Where and with whom did you train?
- Zenz Katrin-Annete (German International Soloist, currently teaching in Macedonia University, Greece),
Nicolos Dimopoulos (Principal Flute in T.S.S.O./Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra),
Ilia Macovei (former Principal Flute in T.S.S.O.). - Do you have a personal message for students?
- I believe music is the tool to express yourself creatively. It's about describing things you feel that cannot be expressed with words.
Learning should be an enjoyable, fun music journey and not an obligation.
