Personal Message
My name is Andrea Berbegal and I am studying at Guildhall School of Music in London. I am a passionate, hard working teacher who looks forward to bringing the best out of my pupils.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach piano, French (writing, reading, listening, speaking), up to KS3 level and Spanish (writing, reading, listening, speaking) up to GCSE level.
As a spanish native, I also teach oral Spanish lessons up to A-Level.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I am currently undergoing a performance degree at Guildhall School of Music and Drama (BMus) on full scholarship. In French, I achieved an A* (GCSE) and an A (A-Level). I also achieved A* both at GCSE and A Level spanish as well as A* at GCSE and A-Level Music.
What kind of experience do you have?
For 6 years I studied at the "Professional Music Conservatoire of Torrent" in Valencia, Spain. I participated in numerous chamber music, duet and solo concerts and, in 2010, I was awarded with the 'Honorific Mention of the year' for piano. At the age of 16, I left home to continue my studies in the UK at Chethams School of Music in Manchester, where I was fortunate to gain diverse experiences such as solo concerts in beautiful venues (June&July 2010, 2011) in Newcastle and Scotland as well as singing in Chethams Chorus accompanied by Chetham’s Symphony Orchestra at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. In July 2011, I also had the incredible opportunity to participate as a soloist in "La Pamparina Festival de Musique" in France. For languages I have studied French for 7 years and attained an A* at GCSE and an A at A level. I also took Spanish and Music A Level, where I achieved A* in both. I also have travelled to France a lot in the past, which has indeed helped with my french oral capacity.
How much do you charge?
I charge £25/ hour on piano or £12.50/ half hour and I am very prepared to travel but at a potential extra cost to cover expenses and travel time.

For language lessons I charge £20/hour for French or Spanish (KS1, KS2, KS3) French. Spanish GCSE will be charged at £25/hour and I also teach A-Level Oral Spanish £20.
Where do you teach?
I am able to teach in and around Barbican and the near areas with an extra cost to cover travel. My closest tube stations are Moorgate and Barbican. The ideal teaching place would be my flat (NB I have piano).
When are you available?
I am available during the week and on weekends, the best thing to do is to contact me to discuss timetable details.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
On piano, I am happy to teach complete beginners to advanced amateurs up to grade 5/6. It doesn't need to be a "professional" objective, I will very happily teach students that take piano as a hobby or a pleasure (although this doesn't mean working less!!!). And as for languages, I teach KS1, KS2, KS3 French and KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-Level Spanish.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
I do not currently have a CRB.
Where and with whom did you train?
I studied in Spain under the tuition of Maria Enriqueta Navarro García. Later on, at Chetham's School of Music, with Jonathan Middleton and now, at Guildhall School of Music I will work with the Senior Professor of the Piano Department of the school, Joan Havill.
Do you have a personal message for students?
