Which subject(s) do you teach?
I can teach History to KS3 and GCSE levels. I also teach English and Science to KS 3 level.

Bachelor of Education Honours degree University of Manchester
Qualified teacher in the UK since 1981.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have been a qualified teacher for nearly thirty years in the United Kingdom. I have taught in state secondary and secondary independent schools and at a tutorial college. I have taught History and General Studies to GCSE and Science, Design and Technology and English to KS 3 level. I have also taught photography - practical and theoretical for many years.
How much do you charge?
I charge £ 20 per hour - longer sessions can be booked. I do not charge for travel within my local area.(Stanmore - Harrow)
Where do you teach?
I teach at the students' homes and I am based in Stanmore, Middx. I teach in Stanmore, Harrow, Kenton and Edgware. I am willing to travel to any part of NW London and even further by arrangement.
When are you available?
I am available to teach 7 days a week at most times. I can work during school holidays when needed. I can fit in with students' free time and special requirements.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach KS3 and GCSE levels, most of my students have been in the age group 11 - 16.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
I do have a valid CRB certificate because I work in a local state school.
Do you belong to any professional organisations?
Alumni of Manchester University.
Do you have a personal message for students?
Never give up in your studies - effort leads to confidence. Always think through topics in your subject carefully - it is much easier to remember things that you understand !
