I am a musician and music teacher.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
My main focus is music. I am a French horn player, though I also play and teach other brass instruments, as well as tutoring for music theory exams. I also tutor for GCSE and A-level maths and science.
Tell me about your qualifications.
Licenciate of the Royal Schools of Music with distinction, and Diploma of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music with distinction. Full scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music. A-level grades A* in music, physics, A in chemistry, maths, AS A in further maths. GCSE A* in music, double award science, maths, English literature and language, history and French.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught young brass musicians individually and in group sessions.
How much do you charge?
20/hr as standard, group lessons for a reduced price on consultation.
Where do you teach?
I am based in N4 and NW1 and am willing to travel around north and central London: to Marylebone, Mayfair, Westminster, Haringey, Chelsea.
When are you available?
I don't have a fixed schedule, I will arrange on a week-by-week basis.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
Ages 12-18, levels from beginner.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
No.
Where and with whom did you train?
I am a student at the Royal Academy of Music, and have spent seven years at Chetham's School of Music.
