I am an enthusiastic teacher for Piano, Classical Theory, Musicianship, Composition and German offering one-to-one and group lessons in West and Central London for a all age groups!
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Piano, Classical Theory and Composition and Musicianship. I can also prepare you for Associated Board Theory Exams or give you extra help for GCSE or A-Level Music.

I am a German native speaker and can help you preparing for GCSE and A-Level German.
Tell me about your qualifications.
Originally from Germany, I am now studying composition at the Royal College of Music where I also received piano tuition and completed a teaching course.
What kind of experience do you have?
I am experienced in teaching Piano, Composition, Orchestration and Theory for all age groups. I also have experience in delivering Outreach Workshops (Music and non-music related).

As a pianist I performed with the Philharmonic State Orchestra Mainz (Germany) and the PCK Mainz Symphony Orchestra as well as giving solo and chamber music recitals.

As a composer my works have been performed at the St Magnus Festival, Dartington International Summer School, Tage für Neue Musik Darmstadt, the National Portrait Gallery, L’Arsenal, Frankfurter Hof, Sheldonian Theatre (Oxford) and the Philharmonie Luxembourg by ensembles such as the Luxembourg Sinfonietta, Composers Ensemble, RCM Symphony Orchestra, Ossian Ensemble, Ensemble Est!Est!!Est!!!, Hebrides Ensemble and the Phorminx Ensemble. I participated in the St Magnus Composers‘ Course  directed by Sir Peter Maxwell Davies, Sally Beamish and Alasdair Nicolson. In 2011 I have been accepted onto the Britten-Pears Young Artist Programme directed by Oliver Knussen, Colin Matthews and Michael Gandolfi and attended the Dartington International Summer School to work with Gerald Barry and Richard Baker.

Consultation lessons are free of charge (except of Sibelius Software and German tuition)

Discounts available for group lessons.
Where do you teach?
I teach at students' homes. I live in Hammersmith and am happy to travel to Zones 1-3.
When are you available?
Monday: 14.00-20.00
Tuesday: 14.00-20.00
Wednesday: 12.00-18.00
Friday: 14.00-20.00
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all age groups and levels.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I prepare students for ABRSM and Guildhall/Trinity qualifications as well as for entrance auditions at universities and music colleges.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
No, but I can provide reliable references if requested.
Where and with whom did you train?
I studied piano with Uwe Zeutzheim at the Peter-Cornelius-Konservatorium Mainz (Germany) as well as with John Byrne at the Royal College of Music. My principal composition teachers include Gerhard Fischer-Münster (Germany), Cord Meijering (Germany) and Kenneth Hesketh (Royal College of Music). Apart from being trained in Music Theory at the Royal College of Music I received tuition at the Johannes-Gutenberg-Universität Mainz (Germany).
