Personal Message: Learning to play the guitar should always be fun, so I help my students to play the music that they love, making their practice enjoyable and helping them to achieve their goals quickly!
Which subject(s) do you teach?: Pop, rock, folk, country on acoustic and electric guitar. Songwriting from beginner up to expert level.
Tell me about your qualifications.: Certificate in Education 7407- City and Guilds.
RSL Level 3 Diploma for Music Educators - Rockschool.
Masters Degree in Songwriting - Bath Spa University.
What kind of experience do you have?: I have been a college lecturer since 2001, and have been a professional Guitar Tutor since 2005. During that time, I have also taught in schools, colleges and universities and have lead many workshops and masterclasses.
How much do you charge?: All lessons take place in my Tamworth (Staffordshire) based studio, and I charge £25.00 per hour for my time in all subjects.

For younger students (under 12) I can teach a 30 minute lesson for £15.00
Where do you teach?: All lessons normally take place in my studio, though I do run workshops in other venues. Please contact me to apply for pricing structure.
When are you available?: I teach weekdays only - daytime and evenings.
Which ages and levels do you teach?: I teach all subjects from the age of 7 years, and from beginners to all levels.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?: I have certificates from Staffordshire and Warwickshire County Councils.
Do you belong to any professional organisations?: I am a member of the Musicians Union, and PRS and MCPS.
Tell me about some of your current students.: My current students vary from the age of 7 through to 67 years, and cover all levels of ability from complete beginner up to semi-pro performers.
