- Welcome to my page and thank you for your interest.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach bassoon, clarinet, recorder, beginner flute, beginner saxophone and music theory
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I have a B Mus (Hons) from Royal Holloway College, University of London and a PGCE from Reading University. I have an LTCL (Trinity College, London) in bassoon teaching and ABRSM Grade 8 clarinet (distinction)
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have taught instrumental lessons for 30 years and have also been a specialist primary music teacher in Essex schools for 25 years, teaching whole class music and recorder lessons, conducting music festivals and organising school choirs and orchestras. I am Principal Bassoonist with Essex Symphony Orchestra and play with the Danzi Wind Quintet.
- How much do you charge?
- £15 for 30 minutes, £30 for an hour. First lesson free!
- Where do you teach?
- I teach at home in Chelmsford, Essex and Wickford (near Southend) Essex and currently in schools in Chelmsford, Wickford, Colchester, Little Baddow and South Woodham Ferrers. I would be very happy to consider coming into your school if more than one pupil was interested in having lessons.
- When are you available?
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings in Chelmsford and Wednesday evenings in Wickford during term time. Lessons can be arranged during the school holidays at any time.

- Any age, from beginners to advanced

- ABRSM exams

- Tell me about some of your current students.
- I have pupils aged 7 to 11 learning mini bassoon, recorder, clarinet, flute and saxophone, and 11 year old to adult students on clarinet, bassoon and music theory. Most are studying for exams ranging from Grade 1 to 8.
