Tell me about some of your current students.
Calendar Year 2009:

Student1, N London, is in her mid-twenties, already has a first degree, and has a university offer to study Medicine on condition that she obtains an A-grade in AS Chemistry.

Student2, W London, is an oversea's student, has a university offer to study Medical Science, on condition that she gets a good grade at A-Level Chemistry. She is currently at an independent college, taking AS and A2 levels in one year.

Student3, Essex, requires a good grade to read Biological Chemistry.

Student4, SE London, requires a good grade in a numerate subject to become a Chartered Accountant.

Student5, Middx, will take a gap year before re-applying to study Medicine.

Student6, SW London, is in an independent 6th Form College, aiming for Oxbridge to read finance-related subjects. He needs the highest A-Level grades in numerate subjects (Maths/Phys/Chem), and is using the Summer School discount for 3x1½ hour Chemistry tutorials per week. These are being used to strengthen his AS, and to forge ahead with A2 before the autumn term begins.

Student7, Surrey, is sitting IB Chemistry, and other sciences, and is aiming for Medicine at Cambridge. He is utilising the Summer School rates to fill in any gaps in knowledge/understanding in Standard, and to progress into Higher.

Calendar Year 2011:

Student1, Middx, required short-term assessment, re-assurance, etc, at AS. She is hoping to study Medicine at London.

Student2, W London, missed her first term of AS, and requires long term tuition in order to catch up, then gain the highest grades for Oxbridge or London, to read Biology.

Student3, Herts, is studying for 4 AS Units this summer, and is aiming for Medicine at Cambridge or London Colleges.

Do you have a personal message for students?
Chemistry, to A-Level / IB / Oxbridge Entrance:

The course is of a modular nature, yet is fully integrated, cross-referencing between the standard General & Inorganic, Physical, and Organic Chemistries.
It will be tailored to your needs, depending on your strengths or weaknesses. Homework, based on past-paper questions, is set at the end of each tutorial session, to be completed by the next session. Each session's homework will be scrutinised and marked to examination standard.
The tutorial session will involve working through the marked homework, and introducing new topics on which the tutee will be set questions.
The students that I take on will be:
- borderline pass/fail, and want to ensure that they get their grade
- expecting to pass, but want better grades
- hoping to do well, and want the best
- expecting to be able to pick and choose their university, but are aiming for one place/course in particular
- anyone else prepared to commit themselves fully
