- Hi! My name is Chris and I have just graduated from the Royal College of Music as a clarinettist. I also conduct, compose, play the Piano and have an excellent knowledge of Music Theory.

- I teach Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Piano and Music Theory. I am also very happy to do chamber music coaching.

AQA-A Level Music Grade A - What kind of experience do you have?
- I have a wide ranging experience as a musician playing with orchestras including the RCM Symphony Orchestra, RCM Sinfonietta, National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and University of London Symphony Orchestra. I perform regularly as a chamber musician am a member of the Kirrin quintet ensemble Loriod. I have also played concertos with many orchestras including in the Albert Hall.
- How much do you charge?
- I Charge £30 for an hour or £20 for a half hour lesson. If you live near Oval tube station, I will reduce these prices by £5. Consultation lessons are of course free!
- Where do you teach?
- I only teach in students' homes as I live in an unsound-proofed block of flats!
- When are you available?
- I am available evenings (usually from 6.00 although this depends on where I need to travel to!) and weekends.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I am happy to teach any age group!
Clarinet, I will teach any ability.
Piano, I will teach to grade 8.
Music Theory, I will teach to grade 8. - Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- ABRSM Graded exams and anything else they might wish to study for!
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Not currently, but I am happy to get one!
- Where and with whom did you train?
- I trained at the Royal College of music with Richard Hosford, Tim Lines and Michael Harris. Previously, I was at Chetham's School of Music studying with Jo Patton and John Bradbury.

As clarinet players, we all know reeds to be something of a nightmare! They frequently don't behave as expected and can cause all manner of angst.
