- I'm an experienced and friendly violin, viola and piano teacher based in South Manchester (Didsbury). I welcome pupils of all ages and abilities.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach the violin, viola and piano, and will incorporate music theory and aural skills into the lessons.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- 2009 - 2011: Masters degree in Violin Performance from the Royal Northern College of Music
2005 - 2008: First Class Honours degree in Music from the University of Manchester
2005 - 2009: Undergraduate degree from the Royal Northern College of Music

Grade 8 Distinctions in Violin, Piano and Recorder - What kind of experience do you have?
- I've been tutoring privately for several years now. Additionally, I play with orchestras and chamber ensembles, and have given many recitals in and around Manchester. I also play as a member of string quartets at weddings and other events.
- How much do you charge?
- I charge: £15 for half an hour
£20 for 45 minutes
£25 for an hour
I recommend 30 or 45 minute lessons for children and adult beginners. - Where do you teach?
- I prefer to teach at home, but can travel to a student's house if necessary. I'm based in East Didsbury in Manchester (Fog Lane).
- When are you available?
- My schedule is very flexible, and I'll be able to find a time to accommodate you.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- All ages, and all levels! Children, adults, beginners and more experienced players are all very welcome.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- If my students wish to work towards exams, I prepare them for the ABRSM syllabus.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes I do.
- Do you belong to any professional organisations?
- The Musicians' Union
European String Teachers' Association - Where and with whom did you train?
- I studied at the Royal Northern College of Music with Steve Wilkie, and as an exchange student at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with Wanda Wilkomirska.
