I offer a friendly, relaxed and professional tuition service. The most important thing for me is that my students get exactly what they want out of our sessions.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I specialise in Maths at all levels up to A-Level.
Tell me about your qualifications.
BSc Economics (Hons) from the University of Sheffield, 4 A-Levels including Maths.
What kind of experience do you have?
I am an experienced tutor with recent experience teaching Maths in secondary schools, so I am up to date with current specifications and the demands that students face when tackling Maths.
How much do you charge?
Up to GCSE: £20 per hour
A-Level: £25 per hour
Where do you teach?
I live near Selby, and I am willing to travel within a 20 mile radius from my house.
When are you available?
I am work on all midweek evenings and at weekends.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I am happy to teach both children and adults.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
SATS, GCSE, A-Level
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
I hold an up to date enhanced CRB disclosure which I carry with me and can be viewed at any time.
Do you have a personal message for students?
If students are willing to the put the work in, then getting a tutor to help out can be one of the best decisions you will ever make. Maths can be a very difficult subject to understand, but sometimes it just requires a little push in the right direction and everything starts to become clearer.
