Which subject(s) do you teach?
I always teach in the comfort of your own home, with Piano and Theory of Music Tuition being my main focus. However, I also teacher Early Years Music, KS1, 2 and 3 Maths and KS1 and KS2 English.

How much do you charge?
All lessons are inclusive of travel costs and Piano and Music tuition is usually based around a half hour lesson at £13.00. I offer a discount for pupils who book a block of 10 lessons. All Academic lessons are £20 per hour (£10 per half hour). All lessons are inclusive of books and materials and I travel to your home.

Where do you teach?
I teach the pupil in the comfort of their own home. this takes stress away from them and they feel relaxed and at ease. I teach within a 20 mile radius of Somersham, Cambridgeshire (PE28), which includes Cambridge, Huntingdon, St. Ives and the villages of Chatteris, Somersham, Needingworth, Pidley, Old Hurst, Woodhurst, Earith, The Ripton's, The Hemmingfords etc.

When are you available?
I teach lessons after school (or during school time for home schooled pupils) on every day except Sunday. I follow the Cambridgeshire LEA school term dates, so holidays are yours to relax in.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
I am always prepared to teach someone something. All you need is a willingness to learn. I have 12 years experience in teaching from age 3 to adult. Generally the Key Stages are specific to age groups, but I am willing to help everyone.

Do you have a CRB disclosure certificate?
I do not have a CRB disclosure certificate. I am willing to get one should anyone require it. I teach within your home, where the parent is fully able to sit and enjoy the lesson too.

Tell me about your qualifications.
I have qualificatons in Music performance and theory from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM).

Do you belong to any professional organisations?
I belong to the Musicians Union.

Where and with whom did you train?
I trained in Sussex with Mrs. D Stone for many years.

What kind of experience do you have?
I began my career as a Piano Teacher at 20. I have taught Music Theory and the Piano for the last 12 years professionally to children as young as 3, and as old as 78 (shhh! Don't tell them I told you!). I have home educated my own child for the last 6 years also and have a vast array of experience with children including 'Clap and Sing' classes, Playgroup, Kids Club's etc.

Tell me about some of your current students.
I currently have 45 students. With Piano Tuition these range from 4 and a half years old to into their retirement. They range from absolute beginners through grade 1-7 up to Grade 8 students - with 1 who has just launched on her own Piano teaching career!

I currently have a few KS1 students and KS3 students and the aim is to improve their general performance which seems to be going well. All have moved up a class/group within the last 3 months.

I have taught in Sussex and Cambridgeshire and have a wealth of reputation and recommendation.
