I studied in Poland for 3 years with Zygmunt Jochemczyk. I have studied in Germany (MusikHochSchule in Luebeck) with Naomi Seiler and at the Trinity College of Music in London with Rivka Golani - recognized as one of the great violists and musicians of modern times.
I had been taking part in a number of masterclasses and workshops.
Tell me about some of your current students.
I have a couple of young students - age between 9 and 13, one construction manager in her mid twenties, one lawyer and one retired chef executive. I also teach one 5 year old girl - music notation, rhythmics and violin. All of my students are very keen and dedicated. Each one is working in his/ her own pace - dealing with different issues and challenges. There is no 'one pattern' applied to everyone - I like to approach my students individually and treat each one of them as an unique case.
Do you have a personal message for students?
I believe we are all able to learn how to play violin.
Using the exercises I recommend will build good violin technique will give you confidence to play the instrument in a way you never thought you could.
