Tell me about some of your current students.
Students come from very diverse backgrounds and studying a wide range of subjects eg Art to Zoology ranging through the Sciences. Most are very well self disciplined and, simply need someone to explain difficult topics which through force of circumstances, the School/College may have merely outlined eg High resolution Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR).
Students who are not well focussed generally do not attend for more than a lesson or two!
Do you have a personal message for students?
I make students welcome, comfortable and relaxed so that they can devote all their energies to study. The emphasis is upon cultured informallity. I strive to develop their natural abilities and confidence... something which some day schools/colleges do not appear to do. I aim to make complex concepts clear and simple by using ordinary every day examples and with appropriate humour.Students work a lot better when they are not hungry... so I always offer light refreshments.
Students usually come to me for periods varying from 3 to 36 months depending on their requirements.
To reiterate, I aim to explain difficult concepts clearly, and to this end I have a large number of specialist tomes which in turn generally make concepts much clearer.
