I would recommend Dawn as a maths tutor because she gave me the knowledge and resources I needed to achieve the grade I got (B). She also taught me new and different techniques in maths that proved to be far easier than what I was originally taught in school. Thank you. - Lauren, Year 11, The Corsham School, Sept 2010 |

Dawn has been a fantastic teacher for me. Dawn has a very kind, considerate and friendly approach as a adult learner and is very supportive- if you don't always know the right answers! I was a adult student who was topping up and filling gaps with my maths that I took in, 2000. I took my exam and passed with a very good mark thanks to Dawn's input. I would defienatily recommend her !" - Tyrone |

I found Dawn to be understanding and patient. She would spend time with me discussing subject areas that I found difficult to understand. Throughout the sessions Dawn would build up my confidence and understanding of mathematical terminology and the rules that needed to be applied. I can confidently say that Dawn’s teaching style enabled me to achieve my goal of gaining the maths award I needed and therefore I would have no hesitation in recommending her tuition. - Kay Reid |

Dawn has been very helpful by explaining problems that I haven't understood by taking them back to the basics and working through each level until I felt more confident in solving these questions on my own. As a parent, I am pleased to see Alex's confidence increase in a subject which is not a favourite of his. I would highly recommend Dawn to any student who needs a little help to go a lot further with maths. - Alex and Mum, Corsham, Nov 2010 |

Ruth is currently in year six and has always enjoyed math's, Dawn has been able to give her an extra challenge in math's a challenge that her school has been unable to. We would highly recommend Dawn as a math's tutor due to the fact she can individually tailor the tutorial to the specific needs, clearly explain what is required and encourage greatly to achieve those goals. - Valerie, Calne, Nov 2010 |

Dawn was able to explain Maths in a way that Chris could understand. Dawn was very patient, explained things fully and is obviously dedicated to helping children understand and enjoy Maths. Our only regret is that we wish Chris had started sooner. We would highly recommend Dawn to any pupil who finds Maths a challenging subject. - Chris & Carole, Chippenham, Sept 2010 |

Initially, Charlie lacked confidence in maths and was very negative in attitude when attempting to do maths at home. Dawn has helped overcome Charlie's negativity which as parents we found very hard to do. Charlie no longer gets anxious about doing maths at school and Dawn has made a strong foundation to build on in the future. Dawn is patient and is fantastic at explaining things fully. I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone thinking of extra tuition for their child. - Charlie & Fran, Chippenham 2010-11 |

Dawn provided Amy with the confidence she needed and the understanding of the basis of Maths i.e. division, multiplication, times tables etc. Amy sat her (mock) SATS in May this year and her teachers were extremely impressed at the progress Amy had made and I am pleased to say that she is now at the standard she should be for a year 5 student. This is due to the patience and teaching ability Dawn provided to Amy. - Tracey, Chippenham, Aug 2010 |

I would recommend Miss Marchant to anyone I knew who needed help in Maths or was taking a GCSE re-sit like myself. I found the sessions very helpful and the atmosphere in these sessions to be laid back and friendly. Miss Marchant set targets for each session based on areas I myself felt I needed to work through. We worked through these areas at a pace suitable for my own learning style and this included working through sheets and old past papers. - Adam, Chippenham, 2009-10 |

Dawn is an extremely knowledgeable tutor with a warm, consultative approach and was able to connect with Josh instantly to help him find a a way of tackling subjects that he originally found difficult. Having one-to-one sessions is benefiting him immensely and he's commented several times that working through things with Dawn has enabled him to grasp concepts more quickly than in his maths lessons at school." - Alphie, Calne, 2009-10 |
