Personal Message
I have a real passion for music and I thoroughly enjoy helping students learn about the vast array of styles, and flavour from around the world and over the years.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
GCSE Music - all exam boards, AS and A Level Music and Music Technology. I also teach classical and jazz trumpet as well as music theory.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a Bachelor of Music (B Mus) with Honours from Leeds University and a PGCE from UCE Birmingham. I also have grade 8 trumpet with distinction.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have played the trumpet for 20 years as a soloist and in large variety of ensembles. I have extensive conducting experience and have had 6 years of secondary school music teaching, 3 of these running a music department. I am currently teaching music in Primary schools across South London.
How much do you charge?
Between £26 and £32. Prices may vary if I have to travel to lessons.
Where do you teach?
I am based in Tooting/Balham area of London but I have a car so I am flexible with locations.
When are you available?
Week nights and weekends.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
Secondary GCSE and Primary. I teach the trumpet to any age and any level.

Tell me about some of your current students.
I have just started to teach Primary Music after 6 years teaching in secondary schools. I am constantly reminded how important it is to have fun when you learn.
