- Hi! I'm Ed Griffiths. I am a student at the Guildhall School of Music and I specialise in the French Horn and the Piano. I have experience on all brass instruments and enjoy teaching the whole range of brass instruments as well as the piano. I live in Stratford and am able to teach at my house but I am also happy to travel to students' houses to give lessons. I have been involved in music all of my life and I am keen to help other people gain the same enjoyment.

I was principal horn in the National Youth Chamber Orchestra in 2008-09 and regularly play principal horn with many orchestras including the Cambridge Sinfonia, the Jersey Symphony Orchestra, the University of London Symphony Orchestra and the Camden Chamber orchestra. Since joining the Guildhall, I have taken part in many of the Orchestral projects, the highlights being playing second horn in Bruckners 7th symphony under Sir Colin Davies and principal horn in Massanet’s opera Cherubin in my first year. I have also taken part in many London Symphony Orchestra 'side by side' schemes. I have also performed at LOrds Cricket Ground with members of the LSO Brass section. For the past three years I have participated in the Charterhouse International Chamber Music Festival.
