- My current students ages range from 8 to 65 and they all have great reviews of my teaching, Many of them are sitting their graded exams and I have a good record of excellent results. Other students play simply for pleasure and have a rewarding time learning their instrument as a hobby. Whatever your age you should not be put off learning an instrument you are never to young or to old to learn a new skill like an instrument!
