About Rachel
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have worked in secondary schools as a teacher and as a 1 to 1 tutor. I have also worked teaching Adults, initially in the private sector for an IT company and more recently for Adult Education classes, teaching both French and EFL.
I have been working as an 11= and English tutor for the last 4 years.

I am an experienced and qualified teacher of English and French to both adults and children. I have been working as a tutor for the last 4 years and I love helping people to learn.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I specialise in English as a Foreign language (EFL and ESOL). I also teach English from primary to GCSE.
In addition to this, I teach children from Year 5 preparing for the 11+ and Primary school maths.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a degree in French studies and a PGCE in Secondary French. I also have the CELTA to teach EFL.
- How much do you charge?
The first lesson is free, so that we can get to know each other and be happy that we can work together. Discounts will be considered for small groups. A small charge will be made for travel.
- Where do you teach?
I live close to Buckingham, Aylesbury, Winslow, Milton Keynes, Bletchley and Brackley.
I prefer to teach at home, but I may be able to travel up to 15 miles, depending on the time and the day.
- When are you available?
I am available during the day and the evening on weekdays. I am happy to work through the School holidays if you wish to.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach children from Year 5 through to Adults.
