Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach the Cello, Classical and Baroque, and I give Chamber Music Coaching. I also teach piano (up to grade 3).
I also give Historically Informed Performance coaching to ensembles and individuals of any instrument on a one-off or short term basis.
Tell me about your qualifications.
After finishing my cello studies (Diploma with Distinction) and piano (equivalent of Grade 8) at the New Conservatory of Thessaloniki, Greece, I studied in the Royal College of Music where I obtained a BMus(Hons) in 2007 and a MMus in Advanced Performance in 2009.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught a cello class (one to one lessons) of 5 to 9 years old beginners at the Municipal Conservatory of Thermi, Greece for two years before I moved to London. Since then I have being teaching privately both children and adults.

For the academic year 2009-10 I have being giving chamber music and baroque cello coaching at the Royal College of Music, as a member of Suave, the Ensemble in Collaboration with the RCM Historical Performance Department.

How much do you charge?
My fee for teaching at my home is £25 per hour and £20 for 45 minutes (recommended for young children and beginners). An additional £5 applies when I travel to the student’s place.

A reduced fee of £15 is usually charged for the first, introductory lesson.
Where do you teach?
I am happy to travel to the students’ homes anywhere within London zones 1-3.
When are you available?
Any time during the week can work. I usually fix my schedule in a week to week basis.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
For cello and piano lessons, any age from 5 and any level is welcome.

For chamber music coaching, groups of any instruments working on music from the renaissance, baroque and classical periods are welcome, whether amateurs, children or college students.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
No.
Where and with whom did you train?
While at the Royal College of Music I studied with Lowri Blake, Catherine Rimer and Richard Tunnicliffe, the viola da gamba with Reiko Ichise and chamber music with Ashley Solomon and members of his ensemble Florilegium.
