Tell me about your qualifications.
I am currently studying for my Master of Arts in Violin Performance at the Royal Academy of Music.

I have a 2:1 music degree from both Manchester University and the Royal Northern College of Music.

I have ABRSM grade 8 piano.
What kind of experience do you have?
Since graduating from RNCM in 2009 I have taught for both Stoke on Trent Music Service and Berkshire Maestros Music Service. I have coached large ensembles, taught whole class instrumental lessons as well as giving small group and individual lessons. I have extensive experience teaching privately and I also teach Kings College University students for the Royal Academy of Music.
How much do you charge?
I charge £20 for 30 minutes and £35 for 60 minutes (travel expenses may be added)
I am willing to discuss the possibility of group discounts.
Where do you teach?
I am willing to travel to your house throughout London providing you are easy to get to via public transport.
When are you available?
I am free to teach in the evenings and at weekends and can be fairly flexible from week to week to fit in with your requirements.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all levels from complete beginners (both children and adults) to advanced students wanting to further their musicianship and technique.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
For those that are keen to take exams I am happy and experienced in preparing pupils for the ABRSM syllabus.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
YES
Where and with whom did you train?
I am currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music with Richard Deakin. I studied for four years at the Royal Northern College of Music with Leland Chen and before that I went to the Purcell School of Music from the age of 11 where my teachers were Evgeny Grach, Maciej Rakowski and Carol Slater.
Do you have a personal message for students?
Learning the violin requires time and effort but I aim to make my lessons enjoyable, fun and creative and I build aural and theory training into the each session so that progress is made more quickly and more organically. For younger children I use games and props to break up the lesson and I find this also helps keep them more motivated and focused which ultimately means that they will enjoy themselves and make speedy progress.
