I teach English as a Foreign Language (EFL) at all levels - all types - General English, Conversation, English for a Specific Purpose (Business English, English for Tourism) Exam Preparation (KET/PET/FCE/CAE/IELTS) or whatever you need.

BA/MA in English Literature and Linguistics (First), RSA Cert.in TEFLA, Diploma in TEFL, LCCIEB Certificate in Teaching Business English (Credit), Cert.in Tourism.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have over 20 years of experience in teaching EFL - at all levels, for all age groups, all types of courses - part-time/intensive, groups and 1-to-1. I have also worked in the Travel Industry (for British Airways).
How much do you charge?
English (EFL) @£30.00/hr - English for Business/English for Tourism @£30.00/hr - Exam Preparation (KET/PET/FCE/CAE/IELTS) '@£30.00/hr
In-company Business English @£40.00. Group lessons (2-4 students) @£40/hr
Online lessons @£25/hr.

Where do you teach?
At my house in Windsor or at the student`s home as long as they live locally - Ascot/Slough/Maidenhead area. For groups/more lessons taken together I am prepared to travel further.
When are you available?
I am very flexible and willing to teach during school holidays too. Times/days - including Saturday mornings - all negotiable.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I specialise in teaching adults but I have experience in working with students of all age groups - so, all welcome!
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
Cambridge exams (KET/PET/FCE/CAE/CPE), Trinity exams (all), IELTS

Top tips:
- Have a regular, set time for studying - doing less more often on a regular basis is better than a marathon session every now and then
- Personalise your textbook. Use a highlighter, scribble, write, draw in it.
- Never learn words in isolation. Always learn phrases (see the article below "Learn it like a child")
