Tell me about some of your current students.
Some of my current private students are Hetty and Hannah. Both in their late teens and both interested in Jazz and the freedom this style of singing gives you in terms of interpretation. We have built a great relationship and they both come to nights when I perform and sit in with the band.
I also teach Asako who is a professional Jazz singer from Japan who is currently in London to record her first album.
Do you have a personal message for students?
I am happy for you to book in a 30-40min session for half price as a first session.
I like doing this as it gives us time to talk more closely about what it is you are wanting out of your lessons.
It also gives me the time to explain how I teach and it is a good opportunity for you to feel whether or not I am the right teacher for you.
