- I am a passionate and enthusiastic individual. I have always had such enjoyment from learning the bassoon and would like to inspire others to do the same.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach bassoon, clarinet, saxophone and piano. I can also prepare students for music theory exams and GCSE and A level music.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I am currently studying for a Master of Performance on bassoon at the Royal College of Music. I also have over ten years experience playing the clarinet, piano and saxophone.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have been teaching privately since 2006 on the bassoon, clarinet, saxophone and piano.
Experienced in teaching a range of ages, from young children to adults.
I have lead educational, creative workshops for the elderly and KS2 children as part of my degree. - How much do you charge?
- I charge £25 for an hour, and £15 for half an hour. I am happy to offer a half an hour consultation lesson free of charge.
- Where do you teach?
- I am able to travel to the students home, anywhere within London Zones 1-3. I am happy to travel further out if requested but may charge more due to travel costs.
- When are you available?
- I am available weekday evenings and weekends. I can be very flexible to suit when is best for the student.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I teach students of any age. I can teach bassoon, clarinet, saxophone and theory to grade 8 standard, piano to grade 5.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- I can prepare students for ABRSM exams if they wish.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- I have an up-to-date CRB for working with children and vulnerable adults.
- Do you belong to any professional organisations?
- Yes, I am a member of the British Double Reed Society
- Where and with whom did you train?
- I am currently at the Royal College of Music studying with Andrea di Flammineis and Martin Gatt. I also spent 3 months on an Erasmus exchange abroad at the CNSMD in Lyon, France with Carlo Colombo.
