After this I went on to study in Geneva Conservatoire with my string quartet - the Benyounes Quartet (www.benyounesquartet.com) - for an MA in Chamber Music.
During school I achieved Grade 8 Piano.

I'm happy to travel to students homes (depending on distance- £5 extra for travel costs). I'm based in Belsize Park near Hampstead, willing to travel throughout the borough of Camden. Also, happy to teach in Greenwich as I will be Junior Fellow at Trinity Conservatoire so I will be regularly in the area. Please enquire and we can talk about whether it can work!
When are you available?
My working week varies so I can be quite flexible around the student.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
All ages! Violin and chamber music up to advanced; viola and piano at beginner level.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
Happy to follow ABRSM or Trinity Guildhall exam boards depending on the strengths of the student.
Also very happy to continue to work independently without the exam system.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
2009 was my most recent CRB certificate.
Where and with whom did you train?
At the RNCM I studied with Benedict Holland and Maciej Rakowski.
At Geneva Conservatoire we studied with Gabor Takacs- founder of the Takacs Quartet.
Do you have a personal message for students?
I enjoy teaching all ages and standards, tailoring the approach to each individual. I encourage lots of singing, improvisation and movement in lessons at the same time as giving my students strong technical foundations and knowledge of how to practise efficiently and positively. Most importantly,I hope to pass on the belief that music is about performance and therefore creativity and generosity!
