BMus (Hons) in Performance;
Double bass tuition with Corin Long and Neil Tarlton;

Teaching and Performing Experience:
Jan 2008 - present: Amadeus Orchestra, Helios Chamber Orchestra.
2005 - 2006: Teaching double bass at Morley College (CYM).
2005-2006: The Young Janacek Philharmonic, London.
2003-2005: Principal Double Bass with Trinity College of Music String Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra and Contemporary Music Group.
2001-present: Playing solo and orchestral repertoire.
1998-2001: Playing with the Symphony Orchestra of the State in Buenos Aires.
1996-1998: Teaching at Beethoven Academy of Music (Buenos Aires).
1990-1996: Playing with the Symphony Orchestra of Bahia Blanca (Argentina).
Prizes and International Competitions:
2004: Winner of The Vernon Elliott Double Bass Prize
1999: Participation at The 4th International Double Bass Competition 'Giovanni Bottesini' Crema, Italy.
How much do you charge?
I charge £30 per hour (£35 when I travel to students house)
Where do you teach?
I teach at home (London N16) and at students' homes ( London Zones 1 to 6).
When are you available?
I am available Mondays to Saturdays.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I can teach any ages from 9 years.

Tell me about some of your current students.
I have 5 students at present 3 of them are adults and 2 of them are already playing in orchestras and bands.
Do you have a personal message for students?
In my lessons you'll be able to build a solid double bass technique, and you don't have to be limited to classical music - you could also expand to jazz, tango and world music. I also teach general musicianship.

To play the Double Bass, it is very important to consider the "Holy Trinity" of the bow: weight, speed and contact point. The interaction of these three aspects will give you the desired sound, colour and dynamic you would like to use.
