- Personal Message
- I love the many aspects that teaching involves and the challenges which it throws up; be they technical, motivational, theoretical, aural, sight reading based. The list could go on and on.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- Coming from the jazz course at Trinity College of Music, I specialise in jazz and it's sub-genres however I also love to teach classical music (and have studied classical clarinet as 2nd study for the last 3 years.) I teach grade exam syllabi for all exam boards and love playing and teaching an eclectic range of different styles.

- I have my grade 8 (high honours) and am currently a 4th year jazz undergrad. student at Trinity College of Music in Greenwich. I am specialising in the theory of instrumental and vocal teaching and currently working towards my Teaching Licentiate Diploma.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have experience in both group and private one to one tuition. I have also done observation work at Junior Trinity.
- How much do you charge?
- My standard rate is £25 an hour. This is based on a one-one basis however I do offer reduced rates for group lessons. I offer a free consultation lesson for prospective students. I charge a flat rate of £5 travel for any addresses in London travel zones and the price of a day return for anywhere outside of London.
- Where do you teach?
- I teach at home in Greenwich and am willing to travel anywhere in London, south-east London, North London, West London, Central London and East London as well as surrounding areas like Croydon, Kingston, Watford etc.
- When are you available?
- I am available all evenings (After 5 on a Wednesday) and some day times (this depends on lecture times during the week.)

My Articles
Recommended jazz clarinettists
I have always found that listening to music is the best way to improve and great jazz clarinettists are few and far between these days. Here are some of the people that have most influenced me over my 3 years at Music College: Jimmy Guiffre, Jimmy Hamilton, Benny Goodman, Joris Roelofs and Eric Dolphy.
