BA Hons Spanish (1st), University of Stirling;
PG Dip Russian Language (Dist.), University of Strathclyde;
CELTA Certificate of English Language Teaching, International House Budapest.

What kind of experience do you have?
I taught English as a foreign language for seven years in Spain, Japan, Russia and Ukraine so I have extensive experience of teaching people from all levels and backgrounds in both group and one-to-one settings. I also have a good background in the foreign languages I teach as I have lived in the relevant countries.

Do you have a personal message for students?
Learning to speak a language in an academic way is one thing, learning to speak a language the way it is actually spoken is another. I try to bridge the gap between the academic and the colloquial approaches. If you are genuinely interested in either Spanish or Russian then I will give you tailor made lessons to help you on your path to fluency.
